Rams in Phuket 2009

The Moorabbin 'Adidas' Rams had another successful trip to the Phuket 10's winning the over 35's (Coffin Dodgers) and finishing runners up in the Open comp. A touring party made up of young blood and blokes who still think they are young did a great job of representing the club once again. Thanks must go to all the Honourary Rams who step up for the team every year. (More in News)

League Ram

Moorabbin Rugby League

Last year Moorabbin RUFC joined forces with a Rugby League team and a new chapter in the History of Moorabbin rugby took off. Exceeding all expectations in their inaugural year, the Rams made it to the Grand Final, only to stumble at the final hurdle. However, the team and coaches have laid down a very solid foundation for season 2009. We are currently fielding a Senior Mens teams, a Womans Flag team, U/18's and an U/16's team.

History

A great bit of the clubs history has been recently donated by Ron Caterson, courtesy of the late Harold Caterson's personal records. It's a copy of the inaugural meeting minutes of the Moorabbin Rugby Club. Please visit the Club History tab on the left to view the document.

Moorabbin Senior Team Photos

Check out the Photo Gallery for Senior Team photos from the last 40 years. Can you pick out any of the blokes still hanging around and lending a hand at the club? Some are still even pulling on boots to gallop around. If you happen to have any more copies that we haven't posted please email them to ramsrugby@optusnet.com.au

If you have heard anything of interest that we haven't got up on the site, or have any photos to post online please email  ramsrugby@optusnet.com.au If you could also supply names and relevant details with the photos that would be much appreciated.
